Little Women
Little Women of Fernandina Beach is a service organization that has been in existence for over 50 years. It is sponsored by the GFWC Woman's Club of Fernandina Beach. Members of the Women's Club serve as voluntary advisers to provide guidance to the young ladies of this club. Little Women of Fernandina Beach is committed to promoting sisterhood, volunteerism, cultivating the potential of young women, improving our community through effective and meaningful service and providing a legacy of highly-trained young women. Community service is the primary objective of the club. However we also strive to implement programs and events that serve the artistic, intellectual and social interests of our young members. The Little Women of Fernandina Beach meet once a month at the Women's Club, 201 Jean Lafitte Boulevard. The monthly meetings are normally held on the first Wednesday of each month from September to May. The meetings normally begin at 6 p.m. and lasts approximately two hours. Each month meeting is designed to address relevant topics for our young women.
GFWC Scholarship Program
The General Federation of Woman’s Club of Fernandina Beach awards scholarships annually to eligible young women who:
Attend a Nassau County High School; and are daughters or granddaughters; of an active member in good standing for a minimum of two years with the GFWC Woman’s Club of Fernandina Beach; or
Are graduating in the current year’s graduating class of Fernandina Beach High School or Yulee High School; or
Are high school seniors and active members in good standing of Little Women
This scholarship is to be used to further education in academic or vocational areas and will be paid directly to the institution for tuition and/or book expenses.
The purpose of this scholarship is to honor students who make an impact on the community through their volunteer efforts and leadership qualities. The student will be considered on the following criteria:

If you would like to apply for the GFWC Scholarship check with the Guidance at Fernandina Beach High School or Yulee High School. Applications normally due in the early spring.
